At Naterra we love plants and how they can support us in so many ways. In return we also care very much about them and the land in which they grow. Pulling together our understanding of nature, ecology and the link with the abundance of plants that serve us with their wonderful properties is a key element of our business.

Having worked in hairdressing for many years, Julie discovered firsthand the damaging effects of many of the mainstream hairdressing products. This issue was one of the factors that led Julie to delve into the environmental impact of the health and beauty industry and develop a curiosity in nature. Also, having grown up on a small farm, she had a great appreciation for the rural environment and the issues affecting the naturally world. This diverse mix of experiences has helped in the formation of Naterra, creating an overarching thread that includes wellness and beauty products with the direct relationship to the plants that provide their resources and vital ingredients.

Naterra remains in touch with ecological sustainability in various ways and these will be highlighted through our blogs that will focus on key plants and issues. We also maintain our partnership work with Manor Farm Ecology in their habitat surveying and restoration projects and with Blue Merle Animal Health.
